So which banks are better for dump and pickup banks? I mean in the sense of a small local bank or a large national chain. I personally use BB&T since its the largest near me. I use a small bank as a pickup bank. What about you guys?

I don't really think that any banks are better than others. I think that it's the people using them that matters, and also the amount of people that are CRHers at that bank. But for dump banks, the bigger the better (usually). Smaller banks may charge you for the extra effort.

So does anyone use BB&T or Ameris Bank for picking up boxes? I've been wondering if they are easy to work with when ordering boxes weekly. Anyone have a past experience with these banks?

A lot depends if you have accounts with them or not. Since it costs them to have coins delivered, many banks do not offer this service to walk-ins or non business account holders.

Most coin roll hunting effort depends on your personality and whether the banks tellers, and vault teller like you. I have been actively CRHing since 2007 and I know that I walk out of banks with boxes at no surcharge where they charge everybody else or just plain don't sell to them at all.

A friendly attitude goes one heck of a long way in this pursuit.
