22,000 Roman Coins Discovered

    I live in what was durnovaria when a shop was built in the main street a hoard of 28,000 silver coins of Gordian 111 and others from about the same time were found,it is said that people going by filled their pockets and that the price of a pint of beer was one roman coin.so the total number of coins is not known.
