Ancients, NEWP: Ant of Tetricus

    Hey friends, I just won this ant of Tetricus, my first. In some ways, it doesn't represent the vast majority of these coins as it's well-struck on both sides, centered, fairly round, and has complete legends. Nice flow lines too. What do y'all think?

    It looks like a very pleasing example of the young Tetricus II. These are all too often on odd shaped or ragged flans or worn reverse dies.

    It is extremely rare in this shape.

    I'm impressed JA. For Tetricus II you did extremely well. Here is the typical flan shape of T II coins:

    great lookin' tetricus, and nice color, nice strike, flans in good shape.

    i have one lower end tetricus....but can't find my pic of it!
    y'all aren't missin' out on much.

    What a great new coin, JA. I've been looking for one in similar condition to check my Tetricus Jr box but I suspect I'll be continuing to look for quite awhile. Well done!

    Probably the nicest one I have ever seen. I have one but like most it is small and on a ragged flan. I also just realized I dont have a picture of it. Hum... must be from the dark ages of Anoob collecting.
