Here come the Swedes!

I started picking up coins from Sweden over the last couple of weeks. My maternal grandfather's family was from the "old country", so Swede is in my blood a bit.

I'll start with the copper and bronze pieces, then move to silver and will add GOLD once I get it unpacked and photographed (supposed to be in today's mail).

2/3 Skilling, 1863 (apparently 1 Skilling was about equivalent to 1 Shilling and was 1/24 of a Riksdaler. That would make this coin 2/72 of a Riksdaler).

I apologize if I've mixed obverse and reverse on some of these. Since they keep moving the date back and forth, I was making guesses about which is which.

Forgot the group photo (forgive the Norwegian coin that snuck into the pic--can you spot it?).

I'll open with coins from the 19th Century, and earlier!

Silver 1 Solidus from Riga, 1663. Technically an "occupation currency" coin from a time when Sweden controlled much of Northeastern Europe.

Silver 2 Kronor, 1876. This is a fairly scarce date and variety (small date, small EB if the seller can be believed, but I'm still working to confirm).
