Latest coin to share is a caracalla denarius I picked up for a total of $15. A very common reverse but the year it was struck/legend, is a tad scarcer then the usual ones minted in 212 & 213 A.D., so I found when looking around.

I would expect to pay much more than $15 for that coin. Great find!

On both coins shown the reverse appeals more to me than the portrait. On the only one i have of Caracalla this is just the opposite. Bought it solely because of the bold portrait.

As far as value for money is concerned that is very hard to beat. A nice scowling portrait, full legends on both sides and a good reverse. What is not to like?
