Found a Benjamin!

I work at a country club and as I was cleaning out one of the golf carts, I managed to stumble upon this beauty. After finding it, I looked around for anybody nearby, but whoever had used this cart was long gone. The weird part was that I found it in the area where the clubs are put in the rear of the cart. Anyway, I thought I would share this find.

Could have been used as a ball mark. I often use a coin for that.

Too bad it wasn't a rich dude who likes to use a Saint Gaudens for his ball mark

I've used coins as ball marks too, but they have been FV quarters and nickels. I've never thought of using coins of value for a mark.

I have. I like walking around with a WL half or similar for a ball marker. How can you not smile handling a silver half dollar.

 

Could have been his lucky coin. Now his luck may have run out.

 

That's true. [emoji4] I might start using my Peace dollar then. I just never thought of putting a valuable coin on the green.
