image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Hello to all....I believe I have a 1978 Washington Quarter that has a faint T underneath the branch....it's very visible underneath a magnifing glass. It also appears to have a line (maybe a crack) between the letters T and E in the word Quarter on the reverse side. There also appears to be a long crack going from underneath the right wing to almost the bottom of the quarter.
Photos are very hard to get of this coin unless you have a super magnifier...Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

most likely a scratch in other words PMD. If it was a mint error the T would be raised. Just a consonance it is t shaped

My vote........................is along the same lines as when that Madonna was "seen" in a grilled cheese sammich.

Or on the side of a wall.

Basically, if you look hard enough and long enough and with enough imagination, you can see all sorts of things in coins.

This happens to be one of them.

no if it was a error it would be a dropped letter coin and the T would be sunken in.
