    Howdy Y'all,

I guess instead of demanding a grade on this coin, I should do this. What is the grade and possible value on this coin? (pics below, they may be blurry)

    Thanks!
    Aidan

Well one of us is wrong , that's a big difference . But these old eyes are already burning . You're probably right . Though I wish the pics were clearer and I knew the series . Hell I thought it was a Canadian cent . :)

yah, I always seem to go with good ol' AU55 ... ya gotta keep 'em honest!! (but you're probably correct => I can never tell the difference between those very high-end categories)

I say AU55 as well. If I had to be super critical and it didn't grade clean, I would say possibly whizzed. I don't see pitting in the fields, but I noticed that the fields do not have any visible nicks or blemishes. The color seems a little suspect, too. I mention these critical comments because I had this gut-feeling somewhat, but it could just be because of the lighting and pics.

Heh, forgot I had this thread. Yeah, the pics are really blurry, taking photos is a pain in the neck...

FWIW, I see no luster at all. I say unc details cleaned.

Hey Aidan, do you know the answer, or are you merely asking us for our opinion?

    ... it's a very cool coin

It's very common in India to clean or even polish coins for weddings , so that's what we could be seeing .
