Hi, I'm not an expert on paper money and would like to know what you guys think of these bills. I was looking to purchase them, but don't know too much (like I said earlier). How much are these worth? Thanks!
Since no one else jumped on this, I'll give it a shot. It's hard to see these in the small images, so I'll make some general points and questions. As with all collectables, condition is everything, and unfortunately I see a bunch of worn notes with a couple newer ones in good shape. From this distance, this looks like a very normal pile of bargain-bin notes. Is there something specific that attracts you to these, as something to start your collection with? With larger scans, they could all be looked up in the catalog, but as is I wouldn't be giving more than $1 each for them.
I agree with the above comments. Many of these notes are available in uncirculated condition in multi-note "starter" sets on Ebay. These notes have been run through the mill. If you like them; get them. Just don't spend more than a few dollars or them and don't expect to gain anything except your own personal enjoyment.
