Can anyone tell me why I have two different 1972s lincoln cents. The s on one is placed in a different area that the s on the other. What is the reason for this? Is there value here?
Prior to 1989 the mint marks were hand stamped into the dies. Because of this, a mint mark could end up in any number of locations. After 89 the mint marks were engraved directly onto the die and gone were the days of the roaming mint mark As for value, you've got yourself a whopping 1c. Try not to spend it all in one place
I've been in Germany for 3 weeks and have had much more beer than any other liquid at this point. I went to the top of the Highest point in Germany today (the Zugspitze) and have had 3 liters of delicious golden nectar.
