The way I see it, it's only worth $24 right now, you open it, you might lose a few more dollars, maximum $23 more.
Why did you spend time starting a thread when the time could have been much more wisely used OPENING IT!
Matt, In your business of fast turnover's, you need to decide what is in your best interest. If you open the roll what do you have ? One blank planchet ? I would put the roll on E-Bay and let somebody else pay the big bucks to speculate what could be, could be. Dave
if you are crafty you can open those Harrisburg rolls by one of the ends and then crimp it again once you have searched the roll. I do this whenever I search through kennedy rolls from the bank so that I don't have to buy more half dollar rolls to return the ones I don't want.
Matt, this is the kind of item one never sees . . . sure, some rolls have blanks in them, but on the end? Think of the probability of another ever having been rolled the same way, let alone surviving the temptation of so many to open it . . . Best kept as is. - Mike
I would say open it or sell it on ebay as is and hope a few people really want it and you get 75 bucks of it or something !!
