Aare NGC and PCGS going to assign grades for the New Pres Dollars??

    They do it because they are first day of issue. Sure you got yours on the 14th, but that wasn't the first day of issue, the 15th was. When you got yours is immaterial, the first day of issue was set to be the 15th and was the 15th.

    They have been doing those slabs without grades for at least seven years, and they can be found from both NGC and PCGS. I'm not sure if they exist for ICG, and I am pretty sure they don't exist for ANACS except for some very early slabs where people sometimes submitted strictly for authentication and not grading. And those early ANACS slabs say Genuine, not a generic "Brilliant Uncirculated". So the corruption of the slabbing concept was led by the top two grading services.
