This looked significant through the loupe, but now that it's photographed I'm not quite as sure. Any ideas what this is under the cabin window ?
It looks to be incused, but it only goes about as deep as the logs on the siding. It's a bit strange due to the multiple edges. You can see the split down the middle of it there. There's actually another shorter one that doesn't really show up in the picture, and is much lighter, but running at the same angle about 1/32nd of an inch to the south.
