1916 & 1936D buffalobuffalo

    I was going through my nickels and I realized these two look different from the rest ok on the 1937 at the top see the little nub by the long feather the 1916 and 36D both dont have that any one heard of this IMG_20140910_205502418_HDR~2.jpg IMG_20140910_204339638_HDR~2.jpg IMG_20140910_224047598_HDR~2.jpg

    It is called a two feather variety. It happens when they polish the dies enough to eliminate the third feather (your "little nub"). They are available in most dates and some people pay a small premium for them.
