You've lived a very sheltered life Carl. In the late '60s-early '70s my mother was one of several members of the Southern California Rolls Royce Owners Club and the Orange County Classic Car Club who had their own cars. Most of them also had car collector husbands, but not all.
Hey ROY you missed what I said. I didn't say there was none, I said I never saw any women as show car owners. I don't live in California, don't plan to either. Not to sheltered a life, just a Chicagoan. Guess our women are just to busy dogging bullets from all those gansters shown on TV to bother with old cars. And PS. The women I do see at coin shows are there backing up there husbands so I guess they do exist also.
I see older women at coins shows and younger children, I just don't see many 18-35 y.o. at the major or minor conventions. I'm not sure what it is, but the less people I have to compete with for the coins I want the better.
congratulations..count your blessings..I am looking for a partner who likes fishing first and collecting.I learned how to do ballroom dancing to search for a compitable collector and fisherwoman...probably like finding a double die.
