I've moved this out of the Test Forum as that is not the place to put up test questions but to test and make sure things are working.

It's a silver tetradrachm of the emperor Hadrian,117-138AD, minted at one of the many Greek mints controlled by Rome. The inscriptions are in Greek and read something like AVT KAI TRAI ADRIANOC.

Sorry my friend,it's definitely NOT Constantine. The TRAI ADRIANOC on your coin stands for Trajan Hadrianus.

You will find there are a few people like Mikjo0 and Drusus that really know there stuff when it comes to ancient coins.

As the Franks (two of the more active members) have told me, believe what I tell you as I know what I am talking about.

BTW: Nice coin - thanks for sharing it with us.

    Hello,

And of course Mikjo0 is right, not telling I'm an expert, but telling this is a tetradrachm of Hadrian. From the style of the engraving, it must be from Alexandria. Maybe a pic of the reverse would help for a complete ID
