Today I was surprised to see a George V 1930 canadian nickel. I was looking at those nickels in my canadian coin guide this afternoon before work and I just so happened to find a coin like that today in my till.

Also, I found a 1941-S wheat penny today. I found about 20 wheat cents in my till within the last 3 days or so, many mintmarks.

My George VI canadian penny collection is growing. I been coming across a lot of those as well. To me it just seems more fun to collect coins from change finding each piece one at a time instead of just buying the whole set.

yes it is funner to collect through pocket change.. but when you come across an 1959-1982 penny book with full large and small dates from both mints... you tend to buy it.. specially for 6 bux... and none have been cleaned... one good deal if you ask me :D

good find on that Canadian George... keep looking!!!

i like collecting through pocket change because there is always the chance of finding a tiny treasure.
