The picture has three side-by-side James Madison $1 coins. The middle one is the Missing Edge Letting coin. Do any of you from this photo can tell if its legit? I found it via CRH $1 coin box.

If so, would it have any value to it? I see graded ones on eBay going for $75, but the Heritage Auction site lists similar for $100-350. Thanks

looks like you have an error coin. not sure on the price. maybe the price all depends on grade. nice find. good eye.

Measure it, get a set of calipers and measure the OD. (outside diameter). If they measure the same size your good. I have about 25 no edge lettering, all graded by NGC. Some people have actually ground down the edges. I . have found one with the edge ground down, so I spent it.

Not trying to be a downer, but from colors in the first picture it appears to have been ground down. I'd definitely measure with calipers. Hope it's real! If so that's a great score!
