Another re-shot. I realize now, it's best to take the sellers stickers off BEFORE taking the photos, else it just looks silly.
Meaning, they are not any better than my old photos? Or you mean you can't see them? I think maybe a temporary problem, as others can see them. (either that or they are "liking" dead links).
I could not see the pics before but I restarted computer and now I see them just fine. weird. I liked that York reverse.
wow, great color. love it. your avatar is the bomb, wow awesome color...what does the reverse look like ?
Thank you for your kind words. The reverse is fairly plebeian. However, the coin was out of a 1958-D Mint Set "card". I bought the other Franklin also, as well as one of the Roosevelts. I had the two Franklins slabbed together, my avatar graded 66* and the other graded 65. I wasn't surprised by the 65, but I was surprised that it did not star given that the colors and the luster are the same. The reverse toner may not look quite as vibrant in the image below as the obverse toner, but the colors and the luster are the same (ditto for the Roosevelt). I did not slab the Roosie, as IMO it was not worth slabbing, but I do find it an attractive coin. Here are all 3 coins...
I was watching this one on GC. But I snoozed and forgot when it was ending. You got a great deal on this one I think.
I missed the 39 D that looked the same. I was having computer problems and couldn't bid in enough time. I missed the bid by a few seconds. It went really cheap too.
One of the dimes from a recent pickup. I tried to capture the reds and oranges on the forehead, but it didn't show well.
Put in a couple best offers this morning on eBay and they were both accepted. These two are on their way to me! The Franklin is NGC graded 64 FBL, I think it is deserving of a star. And the Roosie is raw. The Roosie looks AT to me, but it's not so bad where I don't want it in my collection. It will make a nice addition to the toned silver Roosie set I'm slowly putting together. These are all the sellers photos.
