I know what this is, but I can't seem to find out who is the pretty face on the note. Any ideas?

Is it Jane Fonda ........ No, that would have been on a "North Vietnam" note.

Can't it be generic? Not every pretty vignette face got a prototype/real life model.

I think that it the vignette of Liberty dressed up for the time by the engravers.

The Series 521 - Series 691 notes had women on them, the earlier series did not, and the Series 681 and Series 701 had military and then famous figures on them. The Series 611 $10 has a vignette very very similar to Marilyn Monroe and is referred to still as "The Marilyn" note.

According to a contemporary article from Stars & Stripes, the women in the vignettes on MPC were no one in particular.

Fred Schwan's research at the BEP revealed names for two of these vignettes.

    611 $1.00 - Tiara
    641 and 651 $5.00 - Laura

I'm disappointed that she isn't some sort of celebrity, but it's still interesting.
    Thanks for the feedback.

Most figures are fictitious in nature but some do resemble famous people
atleast some people think so, heres a good example, this series 681 $20
has been called the "Audie Murphy" note after the world war two hero
with the same name i personally dont see it but some have made the
    comparison
