1984 penny found in roll with lots of wheaties

    Incused lettering on obverse above the date, gouge/incused area on forehead and down cheek, deep incused through date and up through trust. The last part of America
    and intials are odd.

    Hammer/vise job? Incuse and reversed makes it look like another coin was pressed into it.

    Thanks for posting the reverse images. You can see how part of "AMERICA" has been damaged (flattened) when someone attempted to impress another coin on the opposite side. I wanted you to be able to see why it is PMD rather than a Mint error.
