Does a 1953 D wheat cent have any value?

I would think it holds great value for you, but to anyone else it is minimal (the coin itself as a date/mint in this condition, even sans the damage, would be worth very little on its own). With that said, you might want to take a closer look at the mintmark, which from what I can see looks somewhat interesting and vaguely familiar.

It has a lot more value because its in the exumania its in. A cent like that by itself is worth a few cents. The piece like that is interesting to specialist collectors. Not terribly value, a few buck, but still.

But, if from your grandfather's shop, to me it would be priceless. :)

It's an advertising piece. It does have
value but not as much as it would
if it showed a city and state in the
address. I only paid $7.50 for the encasement shown in the images and it shows a city and state. So, your
probably much better off holding on to
it as it belonged to your grandfather.

Found several of them from some tractor company I believe my grandfather worked for back in the 1950s, the cents are still reddish in colour. They aren't worth a lot monetarily but precious otherwise.

I agree with the above but the history is worth much more that is an item that you can hand down to your kids as a memento from there great grandfather !! I also advise thought who have stuff relating to there family to keep it!! Even if it were worth 10.00, to your family it is priceless !! I hope you treasure and enjoy it !!
