Guess The Grade: Proof Indian Head Cent

I missed this GtG (darn!), but the Details label isn't surprising based on the OP's photos. The color looks off (a sort of peachy-orange) and a bit washed out, and looks similar in tone to other whizzed/over-dipped IHCs often seen on eBay. I think that's what ICG was referring to with their "Altered Surfaces" verdict. Maybe the OP could post a couple pictures that show off the coin's mirrors; they seem to be muted/nonexistent in the photos. I would have thought it was an MS business strike coin, had the title not been included in the thread! lol
