    Well the Breen early date book is available online, but frankly the images are not good and I think you would find it very difficult to use. having the actual book in hand is much better.

    Better might be the auction catalog for part one of the Dan Holmes collection. Images are MUCH better but you still have the problem of only being able to see one at a time, and since the catalog assumes you can already attribute the coins the diagnostics for each variety are not listed.

    Is your 1803 graded ? I have a 1801 that looks close to your coin without the varities, and wonder about grade.

    Its graded VG details by PCGS. enviromental damage.
