Just picked up my first old gold. Any opinions on grade/value?

This is a down right embarrassment, you guys are arguing over what details grade means or how it affects collector value!! This whole thread went so off topic, is the tittle of the thread How to Value Detail graded coins?? i think not !! To the OGP sorry for this mess and those are very nice coins at a great price

These are worth way more than melt, no matter what some here say. I would gladly buy them from you for way more

 

Is it any less embarrassing than bumping a 5 month old thread to point that out?

 

i will agree to disagree with you, this topic was about what he got all that had to be said was these are detail graded coins. But instead it pretty much turned into an argument about detail graded coins, slabbing process of them that had nothing at all to do with the original coins posted !!

 

Sorry that was an over sight it popped up in my similar thread box at the bottom and i totally missed the date !
