.......but when I look at these two graded notes, I only see one with GEM centering.

Is it possible that the autographs on one of the notes had anything to do with it ?
Maybe I'm splitting hairs, what do you think, are both notes GEM ?

Top one is not centered, but maybe it just an optical illusion. Bottom one looks great to me.

One is PCGS and the other is PMG. That should answer your question.

Not only is the Top Note not centered for Gem, the left bottom corner and upper right corner is not even in the top/bottom margins as well. I would give it a 64..no more, cuz I own notes like these with grades of 64 and not well centered. As a matter of fact, I find it disgusting that the owners of PCGS are selling their Autographs.
I wonder if the know the definition of Vanity?

The PCGS is cockeyed. Maybe PCGS should stop leasing the name before it tarnishes the brand. It's all business anymore. What will the big 2 or 3 do when everything relevant is in a slab?

Even the PMG note looks a little off. Compare the top left margin to the bottom left margin. The top left is more narrow.

But it's good enough for a 65. The PCGS note isn't.
