Amazingly => last week it was 28 Celsius (ummm, or roughly 88 degress F) => awesome-nice weather ... today, a week later => it was 6 degrees ...

Yah whiz, you probably could afford it ... none of my coins are in the ultra-danger zone (out of 300 ancient coins, I only have "3" that are over $1000)

=> I am the King of Mediocre Coins (mean = median = $200)

The funny part is => at -50C the snow merely makes a squeaky sound and you can stick to the side of the hill (it sounds like styro-foam)

It was a coincidence discovered on Saturday. I showed him my dishekel in a private message (no, that's not a euphemism ). He happened to be in the midst of negotiations for his miniature masterpiece.

Considering how our coin tastes match, the coincidence is not entirely surprising.

We did discuss the timing of posting and decided to just let them fly.

 

=> so I whipped-out my big 1/16th!!



... sure, having the two seperate threads was a bit disjointed, but overall I thought it was fairly entertaining (it was kinda fun having the ol' pose-down against TIF's awesome coin ... sure, she may have won this round, but I'm pretty sure that we'll match-up again in a future pose-down)

Hey gang ... I figured that I'd use one of my old threads to ask a quick question ...

Ummm, the good ol' Portuguese in-laws are currently in town (they're here for their grand-kid's 1st birthday ... my god-son's 1st birthday) ...

=> so far, so good ... I haven't guzzled too much wine and challenged my father-in-law to an arm wrestle, etc, etc (but the night is still very young!!) ...

So, I'm about to go over to the brother in law's place for the kid's "party" ... I must admit that I'm a bit out of my element!! (do I bring booze?... do I dress-up as pony? ... or do I merely stick to my usual strategy => drink too much and become a donkey/ass?)

... worst god-father, "ever"
