Mat => I watch pawn stars ("occasionally") and I've noticed that there certainly seems to be a real nitch for these old 'action figure' toys ... so, is that the type of thing that you hunt for? ... curious, do they have a better profit and/or turn-over when compared against ancient coins? (neat side-track, my coin & toy friend)

 

I collect more of the new stuff from DC Comics. I have some Marvel charactor toys but not many. I like this line of toys, http://lnctoychest.com/collections/dc so I am getting the ones I like as they're released. Well sculpted and made

As for old, I like ninja turtles and such since they're my childhood. I sold alot of my childhood toys though, helped pay for some of my grandmothers alzheimers meds at the time. Dont think I am not bitter about that but thats life.

And toys are like comics, most are s**t and worthless but some can go for big $ if you know what to look for. I am not into old toys like that to know.

In my eyes, ancients are more liquid.

 

By the way => don't any of you "work"? (you dudes seem to have the best jobs in the world, if you're able to search coin-stuff all day long?) ... hats-off to ya ...

... sadly, I am now on my final week of my 5 week vacation (*sigh*) ...

Speakin' o' which ... I really should go do a few chores and get some wife-credit (at times, getting some sweet wife-credit is even more satisfying than scoring that illusive unicorn coin!!)

I think it's amusing with wives, budgets, etc. Wonder what would happen if we were left to our own devices with no one to regulate the budgets like me. lol

I always pay my bills but then there have been a couple months where I was completely broke after getting some coins. lol

Vinyls have been slowly getting back into popularity over the years. Hipsters are making them a bigger demand.

Ive always loved the richness in sound vinyls have.

 

Actually, I work from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to bed. I've got four kids, my wife is going to culinary institute so I spend the mornings playing Mr. Mom, and I have a full-time job, swing shift. No rest for the wicked. But a lot of my work is on the computer, so it's easy to check into CT most of the day.
