Die Crack

    Hey All,
    Well after searching many rolls with not much, I decided to check my pocket change. I found a die crack on this Quarter from about the 4 O'clock going West then just under the initial and stops above the nine. It is raised and gets more thick above the nine :happy:

    nice find! My wife looks at me like I'm silly when I go through every pocket change, but that's exactly why I do it!

    This looks like it could well be a precursor to one of the quarter cuds that cover the date. A quick look at the cuds-on-coins site, didn't give any probable candidate that I could see. That doesn't mean it's not out there, though. Would make a nice set.

    That's a neat thought. Maybe I will send them a picture of it and see what they think.
