I see it to on the last 5, but not a very clear shot of it. The left ear of wheat looks interesting tooooo So where did you find this one?
AND.......................... It's not really a "Doubled Die". It is actually "die deterioration" marketed as a "doubled die". Ahh, the power of marketing to the ignorant masses!
What??? marketed as a double die???--nah----fair market and trade--- That's why 'they' need to join this site-read and fricking learn---just like I did---- Poor man double, minor like, heck just believe what the snake oil salesman tells you...hehe
Still would like to know where she found it....like pocket change or coin roll? She has been finding lots of wheat cents or has bunch she just started posting? I love the wheat cents!!!!!
so sorry took me a while to reply... is it rare? or what do any of you think its worth.... I actually found this on the ground by my house.......I also luv the wheat cents
I think the photos up close are pretty blurry, and what everyone is saying is that it is not a doubled. 19Lyds sums it up pretty well. Some on this year did have the ears of wheat doubled in various spots (not saying this does), but again thought the shots are blurry close up. Finding a wheat on the ground that's cool! Don't know where you live, but I would break out with my metal detector!!!!
HAHA--morning, metal detector? My wife, love her to death, bought me five bags of wheats at an estate sale. In those little blue bags--WORLD RESERVE MONETARY EXCHANGE---every one of them, 5 pounds worth were junk----got to check error reports--just because they are old, doesn't mean you can retire on one coin-- Carpie Diem and knowledge is power....
Um I am retired LOL. Finding any coins with my metal detector is fun and I even got a silver ore piece
