1935A $1 Silver Certificate Mule

Discussion in 'Paper Money' started by Stripeythecrab, Aug 11, 2014.

  1. Hey, everyone. I was going through my silver certificates yesterday and realized this mule had escaped my notice earlier. It's from the R-A block. The note has a few light folds and some soiling on the back, but it's still quite crisp overall; I'd say it's on the lower end of XF.

I've heard that mules from certain blocks can hold a bit of a premium, but I can't find any more info than that. I was wondering if anyone more knowledgable with mules could help me with the value. All help is appreciated!

$5 or thereabouts. B-B through E-B are the more valuable blocks for these '35A mules.

Gosh, no one else has made a comment on this? I still have to get my paper book out and check this one out. Nice photos.

  5. They're scans, actually, but thank you. :D
