Yes, it's worth $0.05.

 

Most any dated V nickel will fetch a dollar or so.

 

It is on of the more common dates, but still a nice find.

 

Wow! Found in a horse carriage. Imagine the history. It has probably been sitting there most of the years since 1906. Too bad it corroded the way it did.

Regardless of the condition of the coin, I would treasure it for being one of the oldest "lost in the car seat" coins you can get! LOL.

worth a buck or two. speaking of lost in car seat coins, my dad found a 1921 morgan in a 1966 mustang in the 70's. he still has it. it is in pretty good shape.
