Is this an error?

    I'm new to coin collecting especially error coins, but this looks like an error to me. Hopefully you can tell by the picture but one side of the coin has a wider ridge than the other. If it is an error, what classification would it be? Thanks for helping out a newbie!

    Without seeing the reverse I would say that it may be a slightly misaligned die.

    There is a difference between an off-center strike and a misaligned die, so it is always best to post photos of both sides.

    Here's the reverse. Looks like a slightly wider edge over the United States of America.
