Went thru my closet of stuff today and came across this coin I didn't even know I had. Did some research on it and found out a perfect MS-70 could fetch over 5 g's. Unfortunately, this probably isn't it as I see some kind of abrasion or scratch on the obverse side of the coin. Tried to take the best pictures I could of it. Have the original box, no coa. So interested on people's thoughts on this coin. ~Daniel
I see some tarnish on it which is not uncommon for the modern proof coins of this era. However, it is very hard to judge the grade of most any proof simply from photos, but it is better to take the photos from directly overhead rather than at an angle. Chris
For the coin to be an MS, I think it would have to be BU. This coin is PROOF or PF/PR. If it were a PR-70 or PF-70, I think $500 is a top price, not $5000.
