Thanks fellas ... yah, I now have 4 Rhodes Rose coins (I really like that coin-theme) ...

=> there are still a few Rhodes Rose examples out there (one day I hope to have a sweet representation of all of the types)

 

Huh, it's kinda funny? ... sure, maybe I've had a glass or ten too many, but sometimes these "bronze" coins seem a bit more like they're made outta "stone" rather than bronze (yah-yah, I realize that it is 2000 year old patina covering the core, but it is quite interesting that you rarely ever see a 2000 year old bronze coin that still looks like it's made outta bronze ... know what I mean?)

... ummm, do any of you ancient hot-doggers have any sweet examples that still look like they're made outta bronze? (hopefully, a few that aren't merely over-cleaned) ...
