Amanda's Chronicles: ANA's WFM 2014 w/ Special Guest Authors!

Hello hello, everyone!

I know I'm more than a little late to this party, but it was a really busy week!

I finally managed to finish the Coin Show Chronicles for the ANA's World Fair Of Money, and I'm pleased to say that a separate segment dubbed "Tales Of The Kennedy Madness" features the writings of our very own @jaceravone and @Travlntiques!

I had asked Joe to do a write up of his time in the line when I found him out there that crazy night (what else was he going to do with all that time, right? ), and I thought Ryan's was so entertaining and well done that I asked him if I could use it and he graciously agreed!

Awesome work Amanda!!! I expected nothing less. I find it amazing that I always look better standing next to a pretty girl! haha.

 

Let me thank you yet again for writing that piece on the Kennedy's -- it was nothing short of awesome.

 

"Awesome" was not the word I was thinking about as I stood in line.

 

Hahaha well I imagine not! Definitely not an adventure for the faint of heart.

Great write up Amanda!! I'd heard so much about the Kennedy insanity was waiting to hear mor about the show . No coin porn? oh well I spent too much at the auctions anyway!

 

yeah sorry .. no coin porn at ALL this time. Long Beach for sure, there will be more time and less insanity!

 

I'll look forward to it!! I need to make more money anyway I've been really bad the last week including 7 coins from the Chicago auctions!

 

I've considered doing a "coin porn" of other dealers inventory ... but CoinWorld already does essentially that, and on video to boot. I still might do it at this upcoming Long Beach ... after all, EVERYONE has something awesome to share ...

great write up. I am still shaking my head at the Kennedy Madness. no way would I stay in line for that modern gold coin. what I think is even crazier was the dealers paying people to stand in line for them to make huge profits from them later. would I stand in line for a early 17th, 18th, 19th century world coin ? YES! lol

I'm surprised the Mint is not offering: "I survived Kennedy Madness" medals in special numbered kangaroo leather pouches with circus tent stripes on them.

I'm glad you still had a good show in spite of it all.

 

I am shocked some profiteers did NOT make a "I survived the Kennedy Madness" T-Shirt. I have dollars signs in my eyes lol just kidding . lol I did see some pics of some people having T-shirts saying they will buy your Kennedy Gold from you. and I just now found a pic of someone with that T-Shirt:

 

I stopped to say hello Amanda, but they said you was still hung over . Then when when I stopped again you was busy in your little corner so I didnt bother you.
