My 2 cents Jay, Really nice presentation. It was educational and informative. I love the pics you chose to use. They show what is needed for the series you chose. I do tend to agree with Kasia about that they are not USA coins. It does make me think about what did circulate in the colonies before they became the USA and started making their own. Kasia, Really well done presentation on the war nickels. I like what you brought into the mix about the value of it and what the nickle was used for during that time period. This really does show how inflation has continued do eat into the US dollar.
Hallingood & Kasia, I don't really see anything negative I can say about either of your presentations. Both grabbed my attention and didn't let go until I had reached the end. Hallingood, You brought to my attention, a series of patterns that I had not seen yet. Man, am I impressed with some of those reverse designs. Thanks for sharing! Kasia, You picked one of my favorite coins, period. The Jefferson war nickels rank second only to Lincoln cents, in my eyes and heart anyway. I have to say, I loved the old images of the soldiers and others. Great job guys!
great work as usual. i am in two minds about something as soon as that is cleared out I will post the points.
Great Presentations guys. We are now down to only 3 people. I liked hallingood's the best. The subject matter just blows you away. Kasia has been given an extra 2 points for suggesting this round and one point for her critique her presentation score was 3. this leaves a gap of 5 points between the leader and the 2 of you. here are the points. i am trying very hard to think of a worthy last round. Hallingood 2 2 4 0 5 5 3 0 2 3 0 5 31 jay4202472000 2 5 3 5 3 5 3 1 3 2 2 2 36 kasia 0 2 2 0 0 5 5 1 3 5 2 6 31
ok here is the last round. i am not happy with the us mint customer service. you have to get me names designations and direct email addresses of 5 people at the us mint who are high enough for me to able to file my complaint. for every person who acknowledges my complaint you get one point you get one additional point if you can provide me a working telephone number. here is the kicker if my complaint gets resolved you get the prize even if you dont win in that case there will be 2 winners in case the same person wins and gets my complaint resolved there will be only one prize no 2 gold coins to the same person . however for every email that i write that does not get acknowledged and every phone call that i make that does not get a response you will lose one point. you have until Aug 31 st to submit your entries and then you have to give me time to write emails and make phone calls. This contest is now open to only the 3 finalists. may the best player win
if you guys want to know the exact nature of my complaint we can create a private chat for the 3 finalists and me
I'm in for that private chat. I think it might actually help rather than 'flying blind' on what needs to be solved.
I haven't worked on it since the day he announced this latest challenge. Gee... time is flying. Maybe I ought to get working on it.

Post four photos of the same type of coin. Have a judgement of Good-Fine-Unc and MS quality. The ones that judge the correct sequence goes to the next level or round. Dave
