The coin show in gettysburg sounds interesting. I think I am going to attend that one.

 

Not quite sure what you mean by that, and it doesn't really seem very funny to me, but in any event, The Penny Lady® is a business and it pays for itself.

 

Congratulations on your exhibit awards Charmey, it's an outstanding exhibit. Any plans for future exhibits?

 

As one who voted for your exhibit, it's a shame you are retiring it from the shows. I have seen it four or five times, and each presentation had something new to view. I would think the ANA Museum would be happy to have it displayed as a temporary exhibit there. It would fit right in as a wonderful educational tool for YN's or anyone else who visits their facility. Congratulations!

Matt, sorry you couldn't make it to the show but I know you had something even better going on with your new little one!

PennyGuy, no I have no plans for any other exhibits. Though I enjoyed my year of exhibiting and really appreciated all the awards and kudos but it can be a little too political for me. Also, being a dealer at the same time is difficult and distracting, so I think I'll leave it to the professional exhibitors who do a great job of displaying some very cool numismatics.

SaltySam, great seeing you at the show. I'm so glad you didn't get bored seeing my exhibit so many times! I don't know if the ANA would want my exhibit but they are going to cover page and write up on my exonumia for The Numismatist sometime early next year.

Longnine, thank you. I've gotten lucky to be able to pick up some really rare encasements and am proud to add them to my collection!
