Well I said in another thread there would be be Error's galore. Already on E Bay. Check this out! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=013&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=230093055064&rd=1&rd=1 Already up to $127.50 and Five days still to go! :headbang:
What a sucker! There are going to be a whole lot of those because of the way the coins are being minted with the edges going through a separate machine after being struck. With reeding being applied by the strike collar, there are few if any coins that have no reeding, but with the separate step you know that some coins will miss that part of the process. I predicted this type of error on another forum earlier today.
This photo was taken by the seller, who claims that the coin has no edge lettering whatsoever. Sure does look like the coin has something on the third face. 1. Originally, the seller claimed to have only one GW $ with no lettering. Now, he says has found multiple examples. Just a bit suspicious? 2. Darn it... where did I put my buffer? :headbang:
Wow.... Looks what that thing is going for... I wouldn;t mind having it for free or for a buck or two, but no way for anywhere near that price.... Also, it looks kinda like as a bonus, you all get the sellers fine fingerprints....
I sent him a question asking how many of these does he have available, we'll see if he says 5 rolls or something odd like that. The auction is up to $202.50 right now. Theres no way I'd fall for that.
Well, the seller sent me a message today with an answer to my question. His answer was......"a couple", those were the only words he sent me. Now it seems to me that if this wasnt a shady deal the seller would be more specific on exactly how many coins were available.
