Burma Silver Kyat, Fake?

I found this silver Burmmese Kyat for sale, but i'm doubting if if is genuine or fake. The look of the surface doesn't look right to me with the way the scratches are, and the color. the seller is in India.

I know nothing about the coin in question but it doesn't look legit to me.

 

It's either fake, or harshly cleaned (acid) and toned artificially. Find out what it weighs, weight should give it away.

 

100% modern fake. No doubt about it.

I agree. These have been very heavily faked. Just like trade dollars, a lot of care should be taken when buying one.

that 1 you are looking at on Ebay is fake. no one in there right mind would start that auction out at $1 if it were real/authentic... red flag there to start. take a magnet to it if you do decide to buy it.

not true. When I list things on ebay I always start the auction at $1. a million other people do the same thing.
