Fake 1969 S cent? MM high.

Hello again.

Still browsing through my grandfather's collection. I'm at a loss as to the different mint mark locations for these two 1969 S cents. The uglier of the two I found while coin roll hunting. The other was in my grandfather's collection. Sorry if the pictures are blurry. Stuck with an IPhone for Internet and picture taking.

At that time, mint marks were hand punched into the dies. They could be all over the designated area. Nothing unusual on your coins.

Agreed, I too found one that I thought was different but alas it was common.
