Like others, been slow to share new purchases. This is close to 3 months old. Got it for the reverse and ended up getting it for a steal too.

Very nice coin. I was looking at a few of those reverse types and then decided to get this one instead. I may get that one next if I get another Postumus coin.

Nice one, Gil. I always like seeing Herc on roman coins.

Nice and interesting coin for your collection. I'm like randy, I've not seen this reverse type. This is my fav from my collection and it's rather common:
    Postumus2_opt.jpg
    POSTUMUS Antoninianus
OBVERSE: IMP C POSTVMVS PF AVG, his radiate, draped and cuirassed bust rt
REVERSE: PAX AVG - Pax advancing left, holding branch and scepter
    Struck at Lugdunum, 259-268 AD
    3.8g, 22mm
    RIC 78

Sweet => I love your new addition, Mat (I agree that the obverse rocks, but the cool reverse is my favourite ... a "hna" and an "eagle" thrown-in for style-points!)

... randy & Bing, both of your examples are awesome as well (congrats, fellas)

I have two Postumus examples ...

... Postumus always reminds me of this charming fellow from The Sons of Anarchy ...

I like most Postumus coins I come across and this new one of yours is no exception, Mat. I am especially enjoying the portrait. It reminds me that it's been some time since I last bought a Postumus... must remedy that!

    My favorite Postumus...

Nice coin! So, is the reverse with standards scarce in and of itself, or does this coin exhibit some sort of variety that's scarce?

    Standards reverse in general.
