I had that suspended junk come up. I was shell shocked but a few minutes later it showed we had all of ours ordered. I only use my Discover card so we can get cash back as we immediately payoff the card the day after we get stuff from the us mint. I hate to pay interest on anything

My wife gots ours; long wait but got it done

 

Well, I was in at 12 and had a 3 minute wait, but it went quicker and at 12:04 my purchase was done. Smooth transaction!

I just ordered two this morning, did it in about 60 seconds with delivery date 9-5. Might hit the line at the show tomorrow after I get some feedback on how it went this morning.

 

I got up this AM and found my order listed as 'in stock and reserved'.

 

my status is 'in stock and reserved' with cancel box

 

Mine is also "in stock and reserved" w/ cancel box....

 

Mint rep said that the 40,000 were gone in 2 hours Tuesday. My order in at 12:22 and is ISR.

 

Yep, I still saw "backordered, shipping 8/5" early this morning, but now says "in stock and reserved". Guess they felt a little silly about listing all those orders as "on hold" but "expected to ship yesterday"...

 

My order is also listed as "in stock and reserved", but the summary on the "My account" page still says "Held".


The transaction still hasn't hit my credit card account. That's probably the reason. Maybe they just need time to catch up with submitting all the charges.

The estimated ship date of 8/5 is kind of ridiculous.

 

Got in fast and easy . But don't matter it's my birthday gift from wife in December if box makes no sounds .

They don't hit your CC until it's just about to actually ship.

 

These high totals on the first day alone come close to guaranteeing that the 1998-S Matte Proof still will remain the lowest mintage in the Kennedy series, somewhere around 62,000+.

 

Lot of people hitting the eject button on these before it goes bye-bye. I'll let my order continue and see how they look. We all have a 7 day return.

 

my ship date moved up from 9-3 to 8-27.

 

My 5 are the same way in stock and reserved with the cancel box option.

I'm guessing alot of those orders will be cancelled.

 

i think shipping date on august 27 is also part of 40,000 coin sold. while sept 3 shipment is somewhat pass 40,000. if you order now. the shipment date is sept 10.

I think the Mintage will end up around 75K and this will henceforth be the 'King of the Kennedy's'
