$125 in star notes

    Im a coin collector not a currency collector I just found these in circulation. Should I just spend these or is there a premium?
    $100 bill star note
    $20 star note
    (5) $1 star notes

    For those who cant open pictures,

    The $100 bill is series 2009A serial number LL05192818*
    It has two minor bends from being in a wallet and a crease that goes a quarter the way down on the top left corner.
    The $20 bill is series 2006 serial number is IG04306053*
    The bill has several creases with one creaseline to the right of jacksons face.
    (3) $1 bills are series 2006 serial numbers J02413382*, F04665820*, J02680888* all in average shape
    $1 bill series 2003 serial number G07916723* very worn
    $1 bill series 2003A serial number C02145487* very worn

    I actually just went through what I have and found 6 silver cert star notes and a 5 dollar silver cert star note. Pretty cool looking. I think im just going to sell all of my currency at once instead of piecing it out. I want to start an indian cent folder and get all coins in at least vf20.

    You might post these on eBay and get a small premium, but it would likely get eaten up by the fees. You could also try to sell them here on CT. My opinion is the $100 is too expensive to tie up your money for long; if you get no takers then spend it.

    I have had two $100.00 star notes found in circulation one was a 1996 series and the other was newer so I just spent them. Both were well circulated.

    I handle cash everyday, at the cash register and in the office. I do run into star notes a lot and put some of them eBay to test the market but not selling at all. Fancy serial numbers, though, seem to do better.
