I'm still trying to decide whether to go all-in or not, but as I understand it there isn't actually any advantage to hitting the website well in advance. I'm going to reread all the on-site info at the US Mint tonight, and review the news stories and discussion here and elsewhere to make sure I'm not missing anything. If it's tough to get in, I can recruit a couple of different computers, and a couple of different network paths. But if it isn't hard to get in, does that mean everyone who wants one will get one, and there's no point in stocking up? Ah, confusion.
I'm looking to get a couple. It says 12:00pm EST and I'm located in Los Angeles. So it will start at 9am for me in Los Angeles?
Yep, with the "Waiting Room" opening 15 minutes before that. I'm starting to wonder if I'll lose my nerve. I'm not sure what the upside potential is if you aren't getting them graded immediately at the show. Quick, somebody tell me exactly how their value will change over the next one/ten/thirty days/months/years!
I am going to cheet my breeches if I don't get at least five of them Seriously, one of those will soon be selling near melt type coins.
Couldn't find a lot of info on it. What are the specs on it? I read it was going to be 24 karat. Do we know the going price and will it be the size of an actual half dollar? Read the answer on price on the mint site so scratch that question.
$1240 each. This will be interesting at the show. Assuming everyone that is able to buy their one gold Kennedy gets the special label, how many will keep their one and not post it on eBay? You have to figure some will keep them.
