For this edition of "Never shared... until now" I bring you my one and only coin of Marcus Aurelius, the last of the "Five Good Emperors" of Rome. He was the father of the spoiled and incompetent emperor Commodus. Condition is a little meh but I don't mind this as a cheap hole-filler for now. : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcus_Aurelius Marcus Aurelius, Roman Empire AR Denarius Obv: M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXVI, laureate head right Rev: IMP VI COS III, Mars, helmeted, standing right holding spear, left hand on shield Mint: Rome (struck Dec. 171-172 AD) Ref: RIC 261
Nice, nice, nice => yup, that's a sweet ol' Marcus ya got there (congrats, Jango) Man, I always love it when one of you play your Marcus-card, because then I get to pull-out the ol' green goblin!! (this is my only Marcus Aurelius example) ...
