Just ordered free prez dollar brochures and 2007 prez coin boards at mint website for free. Plan to give to family and friends. Glad to see the mint starting to push these coins!

    Great!
That exemplifies the very meaning of "coin collecting" as a hobby.

I try to give back to the hobby a little of what it has given me.
I will never be able to pay in full.
My life is so much richer for having other collectors to fellowship with.

OK. is there a reason for your enthusiasm?
Are you wishing to "invest" in modern Mint products?

I think they will be fun to use and collect. Besides when they get to 34th prez in about 8 years or so. I can add some more Ikes to my collection again.haha

    Yes, indeed.
I think they will be fun to collect, for those that can afford to do so.
Most of the collectors who caught the state quarter craze, won't be interested in plugging holes with dollar coins.
Also, I don't see these as ever becomming part of our circulatiing coinage.
They will pretty much be a glorified Sac dollar, made for collectors, and profited upon due to seigniorage.

Nice! Hope you have fun with the series.
    That's what it's all about.

Thanks for the link.... I missed it somehow...

I ordered a few things for my daughter and I... She is pretty excited about the upcomming relase too... Shes going to try to build a set out of circulation and going to the bank...

I told her, its going to be hard to get them in Circulation as most people won't use'm...

I will deffinily get a few rolls from the bak each week to use in my cash trasactions...

I think it would be cool to hand someone like 15 -20 dollars in Presidential Dollars to pay for a transaction...

I got my materials Tuesday and they are great.

I got $250.00 in Presidential dollars yesterday at the bank to give out as change in my store. I have also signs telling customers that they will get an extra 10% discount off their total purchase if they pay in DOLLAR COINS, even partial payment is accepted.

Silver Presidential Dollars would be nice. I sure hope the mint issues these! I'd even settle for a "golden" clad silver version! :D

    I ordered three packs...

One for myself, one to give out to interested people and one for ebay or sale if by some odd chance that an un-opened pack somehow, becomes worth somethng as a collectable...
