What is this guy?

    OK, I'm confused. Are you showing us both sides of the same item or two different items ?

    That's both sides. One side is "open" with a silver colored metal inside it. It's got a stamp in the center of the silver metal but I dont know what it is.

    That's what I was wondering, if it was a weight. It's certainly not a coin.

    Thats indeed a weight. It is written '20 gram' both in Hindi and in Tamil.

    Spiraltreet is right - this is balance weight. Silver metal at rev is a calibrating hole.
