Mint mark is on the edge of the coin after the date!

I called my bank, and they said they have them, but they're limiting them to 1 roll per customer.

Seems we have a lot of folks from PA on the forum. If anyone loves in Western PA and hasn't been able to get these coins yet - Nextier Bank has plenty.

i know that the roll has the mint mark on the side the roll that i got had no muint mark printed on it and the case had no mint mark printed on it either so you dont know what you have unless you open it . i read that the banks could order mixed boxes . so how do we know which is which with out opening the roll

I picked up a roll today at a local branch bank( D mint). My mom is in Atlanta, so she is going to try and get a roll of p mint for me.:) On a side note, I got an 07' dime and o7' cent in change today. I think this week is the first I've got any 07's.

I live in a VERY small town (2,500 or so) and of the 4 local banks, only one had them and were limiting them to 5 coins per person. So, I got my 5 and promptly spent two of them with lunch! I was a bit discouraged, though, to see that they were promptly put underneath the register drawer where they will probably stay until the bank deposit is put together.

Drusus, that is a very nice coin design.I can guess that these coins will be hoarded in no time, especially by those who will actively collect them.

    Thanks Drusus

It looks to me like some sort of play token.

Went to Bank of America today and they told me I could only have 5 coins. She said that they very limited. Went to another bank and got one roll. I asked for five extra and they said one roll is the limit..

Removal of Barriers: Obligations of Certain Agencies, Businesses and Transit Systems

In addition to authorizing these new coins, the Presidential $1 Coin Act specifies measures to ensure that an adequate supply of $1 coins is available for commerce and collectors. It requires Federal agencies and instrumentalities (including certain nonappropriated fund instrumentalities), entities that operate any business on Federal property, the United States Postal Service, and certain transit systems to be fully capable of accepting and dispensing $1 coins and to display signs and notices of this capability. Follow this link for details on institutions covered by this provision, as well as additional information on compliance.

Dreamer94,that's a classic example of how to become a braindead vendor up on eBay (or any other online auction website).Add the words 'Very Rare' to your description. That's one of the lamest tricks in the book,& one that serious collectors won't fall for.

I had a friend bring me 4 rolls today at work- free delivery! Woo Hoo!
He bought 4 or 5 boxes, so no big deal for him. Guess I'll throw them in with my FYI Sac rolls.
He opened one roll and I got two of those to play with too. I like them better than Susan Bs and Sacs.
He's selling individual rolls on eBay and has bids of $27 with $9.95 shipping.

I got 2 rolls today. i opened one and can't wait to start spending them. I guess I'll keep the other roll, at least for a while. Back in '05, I got 2000 sacagaweas at my bank, all in mint rolls. Made a few bucks on the ebay.

I got 10 rolls at a local bank here and have sold 7 rolls so far. Some I break down into 2x2's and sell individually.
I sell them for $2.00 each, if you order them from the mint it cost $1.70 each and the people don't mind paying $2.00 for them.
