1900 Russian Rouble, help grade and value please

    Nice piece! I'm no professional but if I had to venture a guess I'd say F-15/VF-20 or thereabouts. There still appears to be some good detail on the reverse eagle crest. How much did that set you back if you don't mind my asking?

    mintage-3,484,900 , struck at St. Petersburg without mint mark.

    grade/value
    F-$15.00 VF-$30.00 XF-$75.00 UNC-$325.00
    I would guess your coin looks VF. a Russian coin collector could tell what grade your coin really looks like. nice early common date. :blackalien:

    Coats of arms on the eagle look worn, hard to say much from these photos. The other side got too much wear on the ear and hair, so yes, VF.

    $45 is exactly what it is worth.

    Keep it long enough on eBay as BIN and it will go for $60-70 eventually. Doesn't mean it is worth that. IMHO $45, $50 top (from these photos).

    I checked NGC book value and it says $180.00 for VF? The angels of the pics are terrible, and I mean it could be in BU condition.... okay nvm not BU, but could be better than it looks.

    I don't have the coin yet, it is in the mail to me now. I will throw up real pics of close ups when I get it in a few days.
